The Voice

do you hear it, this voice in my head?
the murmuring in the distance?
do you hear it?

it's the voice of a friend
a friend who is,
a friend who is not,

this voice belongs to another
yet it resides within
truly familiar, but unknown
do you hear it?

what does it want
what is it's goal
why do I hear this voice in my head?

there is an insistence of unity in this voice
but why? for what?
why does it bless and plague me?
do you hear it?

does it want me to hear it
does it want me to listen
or is it here to listen to me?

if it would stop I'd surely die
but if it continues, will I survive?
do you understand?
do you hear it?

what is this voice?
who is this voice?
do you hear it?

The Girl by the Water

let my arms embrace you
 as we dance together
  the eternal dance

let our eyes see each other
as we look out on the world
  the vision

let my wake be your guide
as we swim in the ocean
  the feeling

let our words never die
 as we speak our truth
  the word

let my wings encompass you
as we soar through the heavens
  the spirit of the creator

let our hearts beat as one
as we bring forth the drum
  the heartbeat

Love

Love is the ability to transfer an entire lifetime of
Knowledge,
Thoughts,
Prayers,
and,
Emotions,
with the slightest of glances,
the faintest of touches,
a warmth without heat
a song without words
with a sound so quiet,
only the heart could hear it..
to call love anything but this would be a lie

Dream

The wind dreams of the adventurous sea from which it came
and will return to, once it has brought the necessary changes
to the land that was required of it.
For this is its purpose...
...change, as it is wind of change.

[

It dreams that it will return to the land once again,
feeling refreshed
to change lives, and spread fires
To spread the fire of change,
to cleanse the Earth of the old,
so she can bring in the new.

[

It knows that it will return to the seas
and that it will bring rain to the land,
the land of which it has brought fire and devastation
so the rain may bring life to the Earth
that she has cleansed

[

So the circle continues,
Death and Rebirth
All is a dream
A dream of the wind

Need to Know

You're here, you're there, you're everywhere
No matter where you go, you should know
You walk with God, you're not alone
Your faith will forever grow

Miracles

Rainbows are like tears, laughter, friends and Angels
combined with a little sunshine
to create a magical music
that touches the soul
it feeds the soul...
like friends in winter,
or like a yellow-pink flower,
right after the dew falls.
It depends on who you ask,
your secrets are written in the stars,
so unwrap your package
and discover your own personal poetry door.

What Love Is

Love is like a summer day
it comes in many ways
it rolls upon the ocean shore
as if to open another door
for us to walk through
forever more.

Love is like a summer stream
that rolls through your dream
as if a gleam from God
who is forever seen!
Love is like a summer day it may come or it may go
even though you should know
it will grow!

Feelings of Love

Love is but a summer beam of light from the sun
that helps us shun our darkness from our fun
it makes the tide ebb and flow
it makes the streams glisten as if it were snow
but no it is not snow,
for snow comes in winter
and this is not winter
it is but a stream,
a stream of love.
